I am involved in a research project to investigate degradation of large commercial cell. Influence of temperature, charging/discharging rate and applied potential window during cycling on the cell degradation is studied. Based on this investigation, cycle life aspect of commercial cell is discussed.

My main research activities is to Investigate the correlation between deposition geometry, chemical composition, microstructure development and mechanical properties. Main techniques used for analysis for PhD thesis were XRD and XAS. Both measurements were done at the synchrotron facility ANKA, Karlsruhe, Germany.
